62.000 delegates from the UNES and CREO movements will participate as observers in the presidential elections

The political organizations of both Unes and Creo accredited 62,000 delegates to observe the installation of the Vote Receiving Boards (JRV) and the scrutiny that will take place after 5:00 p.m.

This Friday, April 9, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Diana Atamaint, confirmed that figure, although she did not specify how many for each alliance.

According to the electoral body, 277,263 members of the JRVs were appointed, to integrate 39,915 boards in the 24 provinces and the 3 circumscriptions abroad. They will be located in 4,377 polling places.

The two political organizations trained thousands of citizens to observe the development of the electoral process.

The aspiration of each of the candidates Andrés Arauz and Guillermo Lasso is to have their delegates in each of the 39,915 polling stations nationwide.
